Mothers Day Card

Well, I've managed to make one of my Mothers Day cards tonight. Image is Heart Milly - freebie from Pink Gem Designs (Thanks very much!). Coloured in with copics, I'm still learning but having fun trying. Used flowers which I got from Wild Orchid Crafts, backing paper is from Laundry Line by My Minds Eye and I've used Martha Stewart punch which I got from Craft Den. I've attached a little heart charm (says on it 'made with love').

Hope you like it - would love to have your comments.

Need to make another one - not sure what to do but hopefully I will get some inspiration tomorrow when look at it.

New Goodies!!!!

Been very, very NAUGHTY!!!!

One of my Favourites!!

I've been crafting with my friend, Christine, for a couple of hours tonight - we are making a birthday book but didn't get very far really but it will be worth it once finished, I think LOL. I will obviously post it on here once I've finished - maybe a while though.

Anyway thought I'd share an old joke with you - one of my favourites, hope you like it and it makes you laugh :)

A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack.
"Miss Whack, I'd like to get a £10,000 loan to take a holiday"
Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that its okay, he knows the bank manager.
Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral.
The frog says "Sure, I have this," and produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed.
Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office.
She finds the manager and says, "There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow £10,000, and he wants to use this as collateral."
She holds up the tiny pink elephant. " I mean, what in the world is this??"

The bank manager looks back at her and says...............







"It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."

Cards made in the last few weeks

Thought I'd post a few of the cards I've made over the last few weeks. Anniversay card made for my mum and dads 51st Anniversay which was yesterday. Love my copics at the moment - need to practice more - but having fun trying!!! Sweet and Sassy stamp - card I did for my friend Christine for her birthday couple of weeks ago. Forever friends birthday card I made for my mum whos birthday was on saturday. We went out for the day shopping and had a lovely time.

Card Order for 40th Birthday card

My friend, Toni, at work asked me to make her a 40th Birthday card for her friend. Wanted it to be something to do with football (supports Liverpool) and Beer - and not girly!!

Oh god - these were my thoughts to start with but I did it. I took the card to her today and she loved it - said it was just what she wanted and really would suit the lady who its for. Can't tell you how I chuffed I felt to get it right LOL

Would love to know what any of you think

Wow, I can't believe I've actually done it!!
Been thinking about it for so long and now finally taken the plunge - please be gentle with me LOL I really don't know what I'm doing!!
