A Card order (well 2 actually) LOL

Hiya, well I've made 2 cards this weekend that my friend Toni has ordered. One is for her husband for their 5th Wedding Anniversary. Toni is very into spiritual things and healing and such like so I'm hoping the paper is ok - I thought it worked quite well in that respect. She did pick the image she wanted using. No laughing at the name - its what she wanted. LOL
Second card order is for Toni to give her mum and dad on their Golden Wedding Anniversary - 50 Years - blimey that is a lonnnnnnnng time!!!!!!

They enjoy caravanning so tried to bring this into it.

Inside of card - photo of their Wedding Day!!! Bless!!!!

A few close ups

Well I'm giving them to her tomorrow so hopefully she will like them. Hope you've all had a great weekend - I've had a busy one but enjoyable. Thankfully all my relatives are safe - though without water and electricity but still thats a small price to pay I suppose, at least they are all safe and sound. Sorry - they live in Christchurch, New Zealand - was a worry at first til we found out they are all ok - was a bit difficult as well with tel lines being down etc.
Anyway, bye for now and hopefully post some more in next day or two. I promise I'll try to get back into my blogging and be good.
Thanks for visiting

Fathers Day Cards

Hi, couple of Fathers Day cards I've made over the last few days. This one is decoupage 'Remember When' range. Looks really good but doesn't seem to photograph very well. This is for John's dad - hope he likes it. Got to think of something really special to do for his birthday this year - he's going to be 85!!!!

The brown card used for backing is gorgeous - really shimmery - not showing up at all.

This one is for my dad. We used to have a VW camper when I was younger - god we had some great holidays in that - me and my cousin sleeping in the hammocks above my mum & dad in the bed underneath and my brother and one of his friends out in the awning!!! God what fun!!!! Hope it brings back some memories for him - although ours was traditional orange!

Used little sentiment stamp by Personal Impressions and punched it out with circle punch and added some bling!!
Well I wish every Dad a very Happy Father's Day for Sunday and hope you are all spolit and looked after well xxx
On another note I have been a very, very naughty girl today!! Before 6am this morning I had spent part of next months wages!! I ordered 'The Cinch' - I just couldn't resist - it looks great. I know, I know I shouldn't have!!! I already have a Bind it All - but think I will have to sell that.
Can't wait for it to arrive so I can have a play!!!
Well, bye for now and I promise I'll try to be a good girl xx

Card Order & another!!

Hi, I was asked a couple of weeks ago by my boss, Jo, to make a card - the order was actually from her childminder - for her son and wife who was having a little girl. Wanted their names on it and the baby's name - Polly Zillah - so here it is - gave it to Jo on monday and she's passed it on and apparently she loves it!!! Which is really, really nice to hear. Hope you like it. The backing papers are from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl pack and the clothes line is by K & Co. ribbon and baby face button from stash - can't remember where got them from sorry.
close up of K & Co. embellishment

I think the name Polly Zillah is very unusual - not sure where name comes from.

Inside of card - backing papers from Joanna Sheens Baby Love CD. I cut the heart on my cricut and added bling - it has to be done LOL

This is a house mouse decoupage card I made for my SIL, Jean who's birthday is today - Happy Birthday Jean!!! hope you've had a great day!!!

Sentiment stamp is by Penny Black.
Well, I'm off now to sort a few things out before watching the final of Junior Apprentice. Anyone want anyone in particular to win???? I just wish Zoe wouldn't wear such bright lipstick LOL LOL
bye for now

Sugar Bowl Challenge No. 36

Hi, this is my entry for the Sugar Bowl challenge - No. 36 I've coloured in Sugar Nellie's - Sweet & Sassy with copics and mounted on black pearlised card. The backing paper is from Forever Friends Pink Parfait pack.
The flowers I got from Craft Den but can't remember who they are by. I used a pearl brad, gemstone and glittery one (all from a Papermania pack)
The sentiment stamp is from Penny Black and I've put little black pearls underneath in the middles of some of the little flowers. Hope its ok.

First Christmas cards for this year!!

Well, here are a few christmas cards I've made over the last week! I said I was going to make at least one christmas card each week from January - LOL - these are the first ones this year!!! I'm a bit behind I think!!! No idea who makes this decoupage image or where I got it from - just in my christmas stash!!!
I stickled snow falling but not showing up very good on photo. I need lessons on how to take better pictures!!!

Again no idea on image or backing papers - although think paper is hot off the press.

Now I do know this one is Kanban - I know they are dead easy to put together but got to admit I do quite like some of them for quick and easy cards!!!

message says - Christmas Wishes - but can't get it clear on photo - sorry!!

This is forever friends decoupage (was part of kit from QVC last year) - not sure who makes the mirri card - got it in Devon - absolutely love it!!!! Quite a simple card but think its quite effective!

Off now to finish a card I'm doing for another challenge - yes another challenge - never entered any and then try to go for 2 in one day LOL LOL

'Anything Goes' Challenge

Hi, sorry not blogged for a while - I really don't know where the time is going!!!! I thought I'd be brave today and enter a challenge - so here's my attempt for the 'Anything Goes' Challenge - by Lynne at Craft Den. Hope its ok Lynne. You never know maybe I'll get into some others now I've braved one - not sure how I go about finding them all though LOL. The challenge was Wings and blue, brown and yellow. I've never put blue with brown and yellow before so was quite a challenge. Hope you think it looks ok. They are blue gems in corners as well but not showing very clearly for some reason.
Decoupage is one called Innocent Heart. Made by Reddy Creative Cards - Angel Whispers range, can't remember where got it from been in stash for ages LOL.

The sentiment stamp used is by Stampendous.
Well, I'll be back later to post some Christmas cards I've made over the last week.
Bye for now.

Anniversary card & Mickey Mouse

Hi everyone, just don't seem to be getting enough time to do any crafting or blogging recently. I made this anniversary card yesterday - not for anyone in particular just to add to the stash LOL. I used to make a lot with Paper Nation - or sorry should that be Jolly Nation now ??? but not done any for a while.

close up of dancing couple

Well, I made this Mickey mouse today for my little friend Zak - bless him!!!! He's three and he's my boss Jo's little boy. A couple of months ago Jo hurt her shoulder really badly and couldn't drive so I spent several weeks picking her up in a morning and dropping her off at night. In the morning we would then have to take Zak to his childminders before going onto work. Since then he's mentioned me a few times in various situations which is really sweet!!! I made a card for Jo for Zak to give to his best friend Helena - I did Minnie Mouse and Zak really liked it and couldn't quite understand why he couldn't have it because he liked Minnie as well as Mickey!!!! So I told Jo I would make him a Mickey to put on his bedroom wall - and here he is - I made him 10inches high. Hope Zak likes him xx

Well, I had all the prep work done on friday afternoon for my crown and my god I've decided I really do have a low pain threshold LOL. My god it really, really hurt later on friday once numbness wore off and saturday was awful - my jaw hurt, all my left side of face really hurt even my eyes were sore and had a banging headache!!!! Today quite a bit better apart from my jaw which is still really painful - must be from all the stretching of mouth and keeping it open for 45minutes LOL. God I am a wuss LOL LOL

I'm off to Manchester for Creditors circle meeting for work on Tuesday - I'm just hoping I'm back in time for gym and Fat club. I've lost 11 lbs and 12 ozs - yippeeeeeee - still got a long way to go though!!!

Well, I'm off to do a bit of crafting - think I might do a House Mouse card - seen the new decoupage images today and soooooooo want them - sorry soooooo NEED them LOL but will have to wait a bit cos I'm skint and what little I've got I need for when I visit Lynne on saturday - can't wait to see you Lynne.

Bye for now, Gay xx

I was asked to make a card for Toni who's husband is 50 - motorbikes was one of his interests so themed it on that. Mongy is what was asked to be put on, honest!!! I gave it to Toni today and she really liked it - hope her hubby does too!!!

Close up of metal motorbike embellishment - god it was hard work finding one LOL

Inside of card - left it quite basic as I know Toni wants to put a poem inside.
Well, I managed to sell a few of my bags today which is great - I need to pay for my crown LOL. I've already put it off for 2 months because couldn't afford it - so really can't postpone again. Not looking forward to it. I'm a big yellow scaredy custard LOL
Well, I'm off now to do a few bits before John comes home from work.
Catch you all soon

Card Order for Jemma

Hi, sorry not been posting much recently, just don't know where the time goes!! I've been sorting out all my bag charms etc this weekend - I have now put them all onto card and into cellophanes - much better - but been very time consuming!!!! I'm hoping to do a couple of craft fairs so can try to sell them - fingers crossed.
I was asked on friday if I could do a card order - girly for Jemma - so here it is - hope its ok.

I used Martha Stewart punch around the page punch - first time actually tried this - think I will be using it a lot in future LOL - love it!!! I've used border punches and corner punches in the past but not together like this - I know I'm behind the times LOL.

I used my Big Shot and Twinkle toes alphabet to cut out Jemma.

I went out on Saturday with my friend, Laura, to Hobby Horse at Elvaston but unfortunately it was shut :( really don't know why, maybe gone away for the bank holiday weekend. Anyway, we went to The Range in Nottingham instead and a few new items landed in my basket - I really don't how that happened LOL.

Anyway I'm off now to watch Biggest Loser Australia - nearly at the final now - keep thinking if they can do it I can !!!!! Well, we'll have to see, I have lost just over 1/2 stone so far but still long way to go.
